PERFORMANCE SINGER

Program Synopsis:

Performance Singing classes are designed for students who love to sing and perform but do not necessarily wish to have individual singing lessons.  Weekly classes teach basic vocal and performance skills while learning new repertoire, while rehearsals and performances polish that repertoire and put the performance skills into practice. It is hoped that our Performance Singing students become confident, capable young performers who enjoy sharing their love of singing and entertaining others.

ACT II

ACT II Performance Singing classes are designed for children aged 6 to 8 years.

Group singing classes are immensely rewarding for young children as they improve listening skills, concentration, develop an
awareness of pitch, rhythm & beat, help develop clear expressive speech and encourage good posture. A broad range of age appropriate repertoire is chosen from film, musical theatre and popular song. Singing is a magical form of self-expression for young ones and is an excellent introduction to performing and the theatre.

Students perform in 2 parent presentations each year and in a gala performance.
